2. What are the system requirements? The minimum system requirements include:
*Microsoft’s Internet Explorer (IE) web browser comes with all versions of Microsoft’s Windows.
**AASC Online is not compatible with Apple / Macintosh computers or non-IE browsers, such as Mozilla Firefox, Opera, or Safari at this time.
3. How is AASC Online Hosted?
4.How do I access AASC Online? AASC Online is accessed via the internet, so users can be up and running right away. Once provided with credentials, you can access AASC Online (www.aasconline.org) from any PC computer with access to the internet.
5. Who else can access AASC Online? AASC Online makes it simple for organizations to grant, manage, and limit access privileges. Each user sees and interacts with only the authorized information that is relevant to them, with secure permission settings that reflect their unique roles and responsibilities. AASC Online comes standard with four password protected user levels, including:
For each paid service coordinator account, the other three standard user levels (Supervisor, Property Administrator, QA) are complimentary.
6. How is my data secured on AASC Online? At Pangea Foundation, we take your information security as seriously as you’d expect. We take practical action to ensure the integrity and protection of your information. All of the traffic associated with AASC Online, both from our servers and from your computer, is encrypted using 128-bit SSL protocol. Only users who are signed up with AASC Online have access to the application, and AASC Online uses secure forms-based authentication methods to rigidly manage who has access to the varying data in the system. All users of AASC Online are issued credentials (username & password) by Pangea Foundation’s technical support team upon sign-up and are deactivated once Pangea Foundation is notified by an organization that a user is no longer employed by, or is serving in a different capacity at his or her organization. 7. What happens if my computer crashes? AASC Online is a web-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) application that is accessed via the internet. If your computer were to crash, you can temporarily access AASC Online using another PC or laptop with internet access by logging into AASC Online. Once your computer is back up and running, simply use your computer's web browser to access the site—all of your data is stored on Pangea Foundation’s secure servers, not on your local computer, so getting back up and running is easy.
8. Can I manage multiple sites (properties) with AASC Online? Users have the ability to access, manage, and report resident data for multiple properties in AASC Online. Once an organization signs up to use AASC Online, its properties are added to the system and users from that organization can be assigned access to them. Service coordinators who oversee multiple properties can do so through a single login. Once you login, you can access the data for the properties and residents that you serve in one place.
9. Can AASC Online generate my HUD Semi-Annual Performance Report? Submitting the HUD Semi-Annual Performance Report is a requirement for senior and adult disability housing properties that have a service coordinator. AASC Online generates the HUD Semi-Annual Performance Report with a click of a button.
10. Can AASC Online be used for both senior and family properties? AASC Online was designed to be used by service coordinators serving in senior and adult disability housing communities. At the same time, Pangea Foundation does offer software that is specifically designed for service coordinators serving youth and families. 11. What technology was used to develop AASC Online? AASC Online was developed using Microsoft .NET.
12. Can Pangea Foundation help me migrate data into AASC Online? If you currently maintain data in another application, or database, and you would like to migrate that data into AASC Online, Pangea Foundation may be able to work with either you, or your IT staff to provide data migration services. One basic option is to export data into a spreadsheet format that can then be used to migrate data into AASC Online. Please note that additional costs apply for data migration services. 13. Can I see a demo before I decide? Pangea Foundation offers three ways to see and try AASC Online, including a free live demo, an online video tour, and a free 30-day test drive.

14. Once I sign up, how does account set up work? Once your organization purchases AASC Online, users are contacted by Pangea Foundation to schedule an individual training session. Each user is assigned credentials (username and password) at the end of the training session, and can then start using AASC Online. No IT skills are required to set up and maintain AASC Online. To get started, all you need is an internet connection and a web browser. No software installation is required.
